H.Samuel has almost 400 stores nationwide and is part of the Signet Jewelers Ltd, the world's largest specialist jeweller. The H.Samuel story began in 1862 when Harriet Samuel took over her father-in-law's clock-making business in Liverpool. Harriet moved the business to Manchester's Market Street and ran the mail order side. Her son developed the retail area.
The first H.Samuel retail store opened in Preston in 1890, closely followed by branches in Rochdale and throughout Lancashire. To accommodate the growing business, the company moved to large headquarters in Birmingham in 1912.

  The Service in your Newcastle-under-Lyme store was brilliant, first class. All the staff are polite and pleasant, especially the young lady who served me this saturday named Katy, she was so helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble for her. The store is bright, clean and displays are very pleasing to the eye. I love the Newcastle store and shop there on a regular basis. The staff should all be commended for their fantastic service...

  i am extreemly upset on how the staff at h samuel at the wrexham branch treated me. my fiancee bought me an engagment ring crimbo 2009 and he got 2 yrs insurance with it. in oct 2009 i had it professionaly cleaned by h samuel and then in may 2010 the ring started to go bronze and the gold had came off it. it had also made my finger realy sore and it has now scared my finger so i took it back to them and they said i could change it for a different ring but the same price wich i was happy with then..
